Actress Samantha Hanratty, known for her role in Yellowjackets, welcomed her first baby with husband Christian DeAnda on New Year’s Eve.

After keeping her baby’s name a secret, Samantha finally shared the name on Instagram. She posted two pictures of her son wrapped in a gray swaddle. In the caption, she wrote, “My little Levi☀️.”

The Meaning Behind the Name

Levi is a Hebrew name that means “Joined In Harmony.”

Levi was born with a cleft lip. Samantha shared that her son had surgery last month. “The surgeon did an amazing job! It was a three-hour surgery and terrifying, but our little one is so strong,” she said in an interview with PEOPLE.

Levi still has a couple of weeks with stents in his nose before he fully recovers.

Samantha was pregnant while filming season three of Yellowjackets. She admitted it was tough but felt proud of her achievement. “I literally just had a difficult pregnancy and did the show. I feel very proud,” she said.
