Shazam! star Zachary Levi is excited to become a father! He shared the wonderful news on Instagram, revealing that he and his girlfriend, Maggie Keating, are expecting their first baby together.

In his heartfelt post, Zachary shared a sonogram picture of his little one, and a sweet photo of him cuddling with Maggie. He expressed how much he has always wanted to be a dad. “I’ve wanted to be a dad since I was literally a kid,” he wrote. “It’s a strange feeling of incompleteness not having that level of love and responsibility in my life.”

Zachary also shared that before he was ready for fatherhood, he made some important changes in his life. “Last November I started making shifts in my life, focusing on loving and valuing myself more,” he said. He emphasized how prioritizing his health—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually—led to many positive changes.

He then introduced Maggie as an angel who entered his life. “Very quickly, God brought a brilliant, honest, grounded love into my life through @maggiekeating,” he wrote. “She’s on the same journey of self-discovery and love, ready to step into this amazing new chapter with me.”

The couple has decided to wait until the birth to find out the sex of their baby. Zachary is excited either way and even asked his fans for baby name suggestions. “Keep them original, but not too original,” he joked, “we don’t want our baby to be bullied more than their theater-nerd father.”
