British model Adwoa Aboah and her boyfriend, cinematographer Daniel Wheatley, have welcomed their first child together. The couple shared the happy news on Instagram, announcing the birth of their baby girl, Shy Trinity Afua Wheatley, who was born on August 23rd via emergency C-section.
Adwoa posted photos from the hospital, including a picture of her holding her newborn's foot. She also explained the meaning behind her daughter's name. "Afua" means "born on Friday" in the Akan tradition, while "Trinity" is inspired by a character from The Matrix movies.
Adwoa and Daniel, who have been dating since 2021, have mostly kept their relationship private. However, Adwoa revealed her pregnancy at the 2023 Met Gala, showing off her baby bump in a striking red outfit.
