Last October, supermodel Iskra Lawrence gave birth to her second baby with her partner, Philip Payne. They welcomed a baby girl but kept her name a secret for almost five months.

Now, Iskra has finally shared her daughter’s name and its beautiful meaning.

Meet Prima Payne

In an Instagram post, Iskra revealed that they named their daughter Prima Payne.

She explained that Prima means first in Italian and best in Latin. But for their family, it represents being one of a kind.

The couple’s first child, a son born in 2020, is named Alpha. Just like his name, Prima’s name carries deep meaning and strength.

In Sanskrit, the word Prema means love or affection. Although Prima’s name is spelled differently, it holds a similar beautiful meaning.

Iskra also shared a touching detail about her daughter’s birth. In numerology, Prima aligns with the number 3, symbolizing creativity, self-expression, and joy.

She is also the third generation of Virgo women in their family, just like her mother and grandmother.

Iskra opened up about why she waited to reveal her daughter’s name.

She recalled how, in 2020, the media leaked her son’s name before she could share it herself. This time, she wanted to announce Prima’s name with intention because names hold power.

Before revealing Prima’s name, she shared a list of names they had considered but didn’t choose. The list included Adira, Annora, Elora, Oak, and Shaylee.

Iskra ended her post with a sweet message for her daughter.
