The 41-year-old reality star shared her excitement about expecting her first child with fiancé Luke Broderick. Doute revealed the big news at a special gathering hosted by her best friend and fellow Vanderpump Rules alum, Brittany Cartwright.

Kristen and Luke didn’t want a traditional gender reveal party but still wanted the moment to be meaningful. Brittany Cartwright helped make it extra special by organizing a surprise.

“Brittany and The Valley’s Zack Wickham kept the secret for almost a week,” Kristen shared. When the time came, they opened a bag filled with pink balloons and used pink smoke cannons to reveal they’re having a baby girl.

Close friends like Nia and Danny Booko, as well as Tom Schwartz, attended the reveal party. Many family members joined the event via a private Zoom link, making it a memorable experience for everyone.

In November, Kristen announced her pregnancy, revealing that they conceived via IUI (intrauterine insemination). The process worked on the first try, much to their joy. “We were prepared it might not work,” Kristen said, “but we are so grateful it did.” The baby is due in June 2024.

The couple got engaged in Hawaii after two years of dating. They’ve decided to focus on becoming parents before planning their wedding. Luke shared, “It’s best to have the baby first, then start planning the wedding.”

Kristen, who is 41, faced concerns about her age affecting her ability to conceive. She sought advice from her doctor and even guidance from a psychic, who predicted she’d become a mom between 41 and 42. Despite experiencing a miscarriage in late 2023, Kristen stayed positive and determined to grow her family.
